Rocky’s Introduction…
…Brent and I welcome you to Faith Bible Ministries’ Blog site. It is our greatest desire that within this ministry outreach, as in all things, “Yeshua be glorified.” As indeed through Him all things we’re created, and all things are held together, as seen in Colossians 1:17, which states:
“And He is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Brent and I have been friends for going over 20 years, and during that time have been blessed with many hours of attempting to sharpen one another’s swords with only minimal cuts and lacerations :) <<< smile inserted here.
Push comes to shove, Brent tends to display more of a Greek approach by way of his exact and exhaustive approach to Biblical exegesis; whereas I perhaps would be considered more of the Hebrew flavor, in that I may be somewhat more artistic and poetic, with less emphasis on certain details as he.
In either event, we both recognize that we all play a unique role within the body of Christ and have need of one another to be effective for the kingdom – and it’s for the glory and purpose of His kingdom that this blog site exists.
May all who venture in be blessed with a deeper understanding of who Jesus Christ is – the author and finisher of our faith. (Heb 12:2).
It is our faith that binds us together, as without faith it is impossible to please God ( Heb 11:6), and we look forward to sharing the fruits of that faith one with another in the same spirit of love the Father has given us through the gift of His Son.
